Yak Thai products offer the real taste of Thailand.
To make this possible, we use no additives or thickeners, nor do we sterilize our products at 130°C. Our products don't have to endure weeks of sea travel; we produce them fresh here in Bavaria.
IMPORTANT: Therefore, we ask you to keep the products in the refrigerator after opening. Please also cover the curry pastes with a little neutral oil (e.g., rapeseed or sunflower oil). You're probably familiar with this procedure from
Pesto.

Som Tam Thai sauce is the centerpiece of the classic Thai dish Som Tam , a refreshing green papaya salad known for its perfect balance of sweet, sour, spicy, and salty flavors. This sauce captures the essence of Thai cuisine in a harmonious blend that's both traditional and versatile.
Som Tam Thai sauce is not only an essential ingredient for the famous papaya salad, but also a versatile ingredient that's great for marinades or as a dressing for other salads. With its crisp texture and complex flavors, it's a must-try for any lover of Thai cuisine.
TIP : Try using kohlrabi and carrots instead of papaya. It tastes almost exactly the same and is available locally.
- Lemon juice : forms the basis of the sauce and ensures the right consistency.
- Cane-coconut sugar : gives the sauce its characteristic sweetness and a deep, caramelized flavor.
- Fish sauce : adds a distinctive salty flavor typical of Thai cuisine.
- Tamarind juice : brings a fruity acidity that rounds off the taste.
