Pad Thai recipe with shrimp

Ingredients for 3 - 4 servings of Pad Thai with shrimp

Preparation time for 3 - 4 servings of Pad Thai: 30 minutes

Just follow our cooking instructions.

Black Tiger Shrimp (alternatively chicken breast) as desired
rice noodles 400g
bean sprouts 200g
Pad Thai sauce (depending on desired intensity) 125 - 250 ml
egg 1 per serving
spring onion 2 bars
Tofu (chopped) 200g
Lime 1 (quarter)
Peanuts 1 tbsp per serving
chili powder as desired
vegetable oil 1 tbsp per serving

Preparation of Pad Thai

1. Soak the rice noodles in warm water for at least 30 minutes. The noodles are ready once they are tender.

2. If you haven't already done so, remove the shrimp's intestines, or cut the chicken into thin strips and marinate them in a little Pad Thai sauce. Then, cut the spring onion into approximately 3-4 cm long pieces.

3. Add the vegetable oil to the pan and heat over medium heat until it smokes slightly.

4. Now remove the noodles from the water, drain slightly, and add them to the pan. Briefly fry them, then add the remaining Pad Thai sauce.

5. Stir-fry the noodles with the sauce and add the tofu

6. Now add the soy sprouts and spring onions and stir briefly

7. Push the prepared Pad Thai into a corner of the wok or pan to make room for the eggs.

8. Crack the eggs into the pan, fry until cooked through and then cover with the Pad Thai

9. Remove the Pad Thai from the pan and serve hot. Top with the peanuts and chili. Place the lime on the edge of the plate.
